Questonnaire research

The questions asked were about both two films Saw V and Final destination 2:

1. how would you rate the film on how effective the opening sequence is, out of ten?
2. what genre would you class the opening as?
3. what was your first impressions of the openinf?
4. what did you like about the opening?
5. what didnt you like about the opening?
6. do you think the location was ideal for the genre of the opening sequence?
7. would you finish watching the film, if so why?

First participant

question one - saw got and 8 yet fd got a 9

question two - saw got horror where as fd got a mystery

question three - saw got a scary yet fd got a creepy

question four - saw got the characters where as fd was for not being gory

question five - saw fot gore while fd got nothing

question six - saw got a yes as did fd

question seven - saw got no too scary where as fd got a yes as it draws you in

Second participant

question one - saw got an 8 while fd got a 7

question two - saw got a horror while fd got a thriller

question three - saw got the setting and the sound of heart rate while fd established settings and characters

question four - saw got cogs at the beginning where as the fd got symbols and suggestions

question five - saw got gory while fd got bored as there was too much talk

question six - saw and fd got a yes

question seven - saw got a yes yet not in the dark or alone while fd got a probably.

Third participant

question one - saw got a 9 while fd got an 8

question two - saw got a horror while fd got a thriller

question three - saw got gory and fd got exciting

question four - saw got straight to the point while fd got wanted to watch more

question five - saw got nothing while fd got too much talking

question six - saw got yes as did fd

question seven - saw got a definate yes while fd got a yes as they want to know what happens

Fourth participant

question one - saw got 9 while fd got a 7

question two - saw got a horror while fd got a thriller

question three - saw got an exciting while fd got a boring as it dragged on

question four - saw got straight to the point while fd fot the music

question five - saw got based on one character where as fd got no gore

question six - saw got set the scene while fd got a give a scary feel

question seven - saw got a yes as did fd

They were all annoymous so the question is full of validity and made people answer honestly this affects the realibility which works well too. By looking at the questionnaire the audience likes a movie which gets straigh to the point and not completly full of gore.
